Product Description
Laurel Plain Props are the basic components in the construction of kiln furniture systems. They are usually made of high-performance materials such as cordierite-mullite, mullite, corundum, and silicon carbide.
Cordierite-mullite combines the advantages of the low coefficient of thermal expansion of cordierite and the good thermal stability of mullite;
mullite has a high refractoriness and thermal shock resistance;
corundum, with its high hardness and strength, can withstand great pressure;
silicon carbide has excellent thermal conductivity and high - temperature strength.
